We bridged the gap between junior and senior level with the introduction of an Under 19 side last year (they won their competition in 2008!), which will train together with the 1st Team and Reserve squad on Tuesday & Thursday evenings. This was the first time that the club had been represented at Under 19 level for many a year.
Use of Fields Off Season:
Just a note to all teams regarding use of Swanson Park and Mangere Mountain Home Grounds.
Please note that between 1st October and 31st March, Soccer does not have official use of these grounds for playing and training.
Softball has the use of the grounds without specific permission being given as in the case at the Mountain for Summer Soccer on Mondays (Junior) and Wednesdays (Senior)
If any teams are having a run for training etc please be aware that you Have to work around Softball's regular playing and training schedules.
Thanks for your cooperation.
