Goal Keeper Training:
AFF came and ran a very successful training session for budding and existing
Goalkeepers on 27th July. Thanks to Jeff at AFF and to the 20 participants.
We will hopefully run another course early 2009.

NEW PITCH!
The Number 1 Pitch has proved to be a great asset - especially with all the
weather we have had this season gone. We have been able to continue having
games on this field right through. The Council now wants to give it a rest
to encourage grass to be restored and thicken up. We look forward to an even
better year in 2009.

The English Corner Shop
We are pleased to that The English Corner Shop have confirmed their sponsorship and support for the Club again for 2008!

Canteen and Upstairs Catering
It's great to have the downstairs canteen up and running on Saturdays again.
Danielle is doing a brilliant job! Please support whenever possible.
Also the upstairs caterers have done a great job with excellent meals being
provided very reasonably on Thursday and Saturday nights. Thanks to all
involved.
